Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance cares deeply about the health and welfare of women in the South Bay, which is why we’re proud to be a sponsor of the South Bay Conference for Women.
You know you will get outstanding care at our medical center, but you may not know that cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of women, and we were recently named by Thomson Reuters as one of the top 50 hospitals in the nation for cardiovascular care (the only community hospital in California to receive this honor!). Our life-saving program is run by a very talented woman, Assistant Chief Nurse Executive and Executive Director of Cardiovascular Services, Valarie Fleming.
We also have an excellent program for breast cancer detection and treatment at the new Women’s Imaging Center at 20929 Hawthorne Blvd., Torrance. This center uses the latest in digital mammography. Information about our services there is available by calling 310-937-1980.
